A SMALLER DECISION

How does the random game picker work?

  1. 01

    Choose your platform

Keep the whole shelf in play or narrow it to a device you use. A game available on more than one platform can appear under each supported choice.

  2. 02

    Ask for another pick

The picker chooses randomly from matching published games. If there’s more than one option, it skips the game you just saw, so the next click gives you a different suggestion.

  3. 03

    Find out before you play

Open the existing game page for its introduction, starting tips and official play or store links. Shuffle again if it isn’t what you had in mind.

A better answer to “what should I play?”

What if I’m bored but don’t know what I’m in the mood for?

Leave the platform filter on All platforms and try a few suggestions. Look for a description that fits the time and energy you have. If you already know you want a quick session or a slower game, explore Quick breaks or Take it easy instead.

Can I find something to play on a PC or phone?

On a PC, choose Browser to find games with official browser play links. For a phone, choose Android or iOS. Additional platform filters appear when matching games are published in the catalog. Check the game’s page and official destination for device compatibility, availability and any purchase requirements.

Are the picks ranked or personalised?

No. Every matching game is eligible for a random pick; ratings and editorial order do not give a game extra chances. The picker does not use your browsing history or claim to know your preferences. Avoiding an immediate repeat is the only adjustment.

Is the random game picker free?

The tool is free to use without an account. A suggested game may have its own price, ads or in-app purchases, so check its official page before installing or playing.

Can I keep a game for later?

Open its game page and use Save to my shelf. Your saved discoveries stay in this browser. Or browse every published game when you’d rather choose for yourself.
