Floryn MLBB Guide: The Seventh Item Is a Fairy (Season 42)
A 54% win rate on a 1% pick rate: Floryn gifts one ally a permanent seventh item, heals the whole map from anywhere, and loses the draft before she loses the game. Kit, builds, counters.
Minute eleven. The enemy dive is happening three lanes away from me — my jungler is getting folded inside their jungle, health bar deleting itself, and I am calmly pushing mid with my marksman. I press one button. Two waves of green light land on all five of us, wherever we are, and the dive target walks out of a fight he was already dead in. That is Floryn. She is the only hero in this game who can be in completely the wrong place and still save the fight — because for her ultimate, there is no wrong place. There is only a wrong draft.
Why she's feared (and loved)
Floryn is not a healer with a global ult. She is a Flower of Hope dispenser with a heal attached — that framing, from MLBBHub's guide, is the truest sentence written about her. Her passive gifts one ally a permanent extra item: the bonded hero gets a shield every single time she heals them, plus bonus attack stats, for the entire game. Fandom's trivia page puts it plainly: she is the first hero who can heal allies anywhere on the map, and the only hero who buffs a teammate by placing another item on them. A seventh item slot. Free. Forever.
Everything else on her bar is infrastructure for that bond. Sow is the trigger that fires the shield. Bloom is the global panic button. Sprout is a half-second stun she keeps in her pocket for whichever assassin comes for her personally. Draft her and you are not drafting heals — you are drafting a second life for one specific carry, and the whole game becomes bodyguard work.
Season 42 viability: the honest read
Patch paperwork first: Floryn has no change in Patch 2.2.16 (16 September 2026) — she is absent from the verified adjustment list (Masha and Bruno revamps; Aulus, Argus, Aldous, Lukas, Odette, Sun, Marcel, Kalea, Kadita, Hylos, Cici, Melissa, Miya, Hanabi, Yi Sun-shin, Alpha, Kagura, Edith, Karina, Paquito, Kaja), and I read blooing's complete 2.2.16 roundup end to end — buffs, nerfs, Classic pass, both Brawl columns — and her name appears zero times. Patch 2.2.16a (14 October 2026) has no Fandom page; its documented list (Kalea buff; Aulus, Hirara, Eudora, Rafaela nerfs) contains no Floryn either, so any claimed 2.2.16a Floryn change is [UNCONFIRMED]. Her last documented touch is Patch 2.1.88, which trimmed Sow and Sprout's mana costs (MLBBHub's patch notes; VCGamers' 2.1.88 recap lists her among the buffed heroes).
The trackers, dated
- MLBBHub (checked 21 October 2026, daily refresh): 54.0% win rate, 0.9% pick rate, 13.0% ban rate; rated Easy.
- MLBBDex (tier list updated 19 October 2026, Patch 2.2.16): S+ tier — 54.1% win rate, 13.3% ban, 1.0% pick. Its note cuts both ways: very effective in short games, but her win rate dips below average after the eighteenth minute.
- EliteDias (updated 15 October 2026): S tier among Supports — "untouched by both patches," 54.1% on MLBBHub, Gfinity S.
- MLCounter.com (own tracked sample, page updated 4 September 2026): cooler at 51.41% win rate, still S+ on its own scale; Moonton ratings Durability 6, Offense 1, Control 7.
The chorus: roughly 54% win rate, roughly 13% ban, roughly 1% pick — elite output, niche usage, and that gap is the whole story. MLBBHub's draft rules are brutal and correct: if your primary damage dealer is a fast-rotation assassin, she is the wrong pick; if the enemy has both Saber and Gusion, she dies before her ult matters; if you cannot name the Flower of Hope ally before the first fight, do not lock her. No fresh r/MobileLegendsGame threads surfaced for her this month, so the sentiment here is tracker-and-creator only — and even the creators argue about whether she is a late-game insurance policy or a mid-game tempo piece. The numbers side with tempo: her bond keeps growing all game, but measured wins peak before the super-late game, where raw burst starts outrunning two heal waves.
My tier verdict: S-. S-tier output with three hard disqualifiers stapled to it.
The full kit: what every button does
All mechanics from the MLBB Fandom hero page, checked 21 October 2026. Base HP 2,401 (4,256 at level 15), mana 500 (1,900 at 15), movement speed 240 — slow feet, so positioning is not a tip, it is the job description.
- Passive — Dew: Dew's Lantern of Hope is hers forever — she never sells it — and its attributes scale with her level, opening at +4% Movement Speed and topping out at +50 Magic Power (Fandom's item page). After 5 seconds out of combat she can share the Flower of Hope with an allied hero (30-second cooldown, castable at any range — even while she is dead): that ally gains a 100 (+70% Total Magic Power) shield every time she heals them. The Share button also grants the bonded ally 8% extra Adaptive Attack, and their next basic attack deals 100 (+40% Total Physical Attack)(+30% Total Magic Power) bonus Magic Damage (6-second cooldown).
- Skill 1 — Sow: Tosses an Energy Seed at an enemy for 180–330 (+100% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage; Healing Fruits then bounce to nearby allies, restoring 175–225 (+90% Total Magic Power) HP. Cooldown 9.0 down to 7.5 seconds. The fruits home in over 0.6 seconds regardless of distance — but if the seed's target dies before it lands, no heal happens at all. This is the engine: every fruit that reaches the bonded ally fires the Flower shield.
- Skill 2 — Sprout: A blob of energy that explodes on the first enemy hit, dealing 175–350 (+90% Total Magic Power) AoE Magic Damage, stunning for 0.5 seconds per the Fandom hero page (the wiki itself flags that duration as needing confirmation — treat it as a blink, not a lockdown) and briefly revealing positions. Cooldown 13 down to 10 seconds. It is her only peel, and it belongs to the diver jumping on her, never to the tank in front.
- Ultimate — Bloom: Floryn resonates with Dew and restores 250–450 (+100% Total Magic Power) HP to all allied heroes, two times, no matter where they are — 500–900 base healing at max rank before her Magic Power — and increases their Shield and HP Regen effects by 12% for 2 seconds. Flat 70-second cooldown. Fine print from Fandom: it cannot reach an ally sealed inside Yin's My Turn, and if Floryn herself is inside it, nobody outside gets healed either.
Skill priority, my way: Sow first — it is the heal engine and the Flower trigger — Bloom at 4/8/12, Sprout last. The stun does not grow up; the heals do.
Combos
- Bloom, then instant Sow on the bonded carry: the Sow heal lands inside Bloom's 2-second amplification window, so the Flower shield procs at amplified value — shield stacked on heal stacked on heal in the fight's most dangerous second. This is MLBBHub's signature sequence and it is the highest-value two buttons she owns.
- Sprout to leave, never to arrive: stun the diver, then Sow the enemy nearest your carry so the fruits bounce home. Reverse the order and you have spent your only escape to deal chip damage.
- The honest re-bond: only out of combat, and only inside a dead bonded ally's respawn window — the swap leaves the old ally bare, so a mid-game divorce costs you the next fight (MLBBHub).
Rotation and map control
Take Sow at level 1 and have the Flower target decided before minions spawn; the 30-second share cooldown makes the first bond a real commitment, and a misclick onto your tank taxes every early fight. Then play one screen behind your gold laner — never beside them. The Flower works at any range, so there is no reason on earth to share a bush with danger.
Her spike is not damage, it is throughput: Oracle plus Fleeting Time, targeted around minutes 8 to 11 (MLBBHub). After it lands, Bloom cycles dramatically faster in any fight she assists — and she assists nearly all of them — so the enemy can no longer win two fights in a row without eating a global save. Play the split-attention pattern her kit begs for: body with the gold lane, eyes on all five health bars, Bloom for the fight happening on the other side of the map. What she must never do is follow an invade or face-check a river bush for vision — MLCounter's anti-Floryn advice is literally to ambush her while she controls vision, because at 240 movement speed with no dash, a caught Floryn is just a respawn timer. And respect MLBBDex's wrinkle: close games out in her mid-game window instead of assuming the bond auto-wins minute 25.
Best build, emblem, and battle spell (Season 42)
- Boots: Demon Boots with the Favor blessing — MLBBHub locks them; the 2.1.88 mana trims softened her appetite, they did not delete it.
- Core: Flask of the Oasis (a critically low ally gets an emergency shield and your cooldowns shave down on the save), Fleeting Time (the Bloom cycle), and Oracle (multiplies every shield and regen effect — including the Flower shields she sends out). Flask and Fleeting Time are the cross-source consensus (MLBBHub, blooing, LootBar all run both).
- Flex slots: Glowing Wand into sustain-heavy comps — its Lifebane cuts enemy healing and Sow procs it, making it her anti-heal answer; Dominance Ice against attack-speed carries; Athena's Shield against burst mages; Immortality only when a Saber or Gusion has your name written down. MLBBHub's warning stands: Immortality in every game is her weakest default — it revives Floryn, it heals nobody.
- Emblem: Support — Agility, Pull Yourself Together, Focusing Mark (MLBBHub and LootBar agree; blooing runs Vitality in slot one for durability — a minor split, Focusing Mark is the consensus payoff).
- Battle spell: Flicker. Unanimous across MLBBHub, blooing and LootBar. She has zero mobility skills; Flicker is the only reposition she will ever own. Purify is blooing's answer into CC chains long enough to stop her casting at all.
How to counter her
- Measured counters (MLBBHub): Lolita, Yin and Ixia hold the biggest ranked edges against her. Yin is doubly rude — his My Turn seals the dive target in a domain Bloom cannot reach (Fandom).
- MLCounter.com's matchup table (its own sample): she wins just 42% against Kagura, 44% against Paquito, 46% against X.Borg and 47% against Baxia (848 games) — mobility and built-in anti-heal are the pattern.
- Baxia is the underrated answer (MLBBHub): Baxia Mark cuts the Shield and HP Regen of every enemy he rolls through. Drafting Floryn into Baxia is functionally drafting her with Sow switched off.
- Buy the anti-heal: Sea Halberd, Glowing Wand, Dominance Ice (MLCounter.com). Cut her healing and you cut the shield procs riding on it — you are not countering one skill, you are countering the passive.
- Delete someone inside one wave window: she heals in pulses, not continuously. Burst the bonded carry between waves, or kill Floryn first and focus her on every vision trip — MLCounter.com's entire page is variations on "destroy Floryn first so she can't heal her teammates."
- Who she counters: poke comps, whose chip damage Bloom refunds globally on a 70-second clock; siege stalls that need twenty minutes she is happy to give her carry; and per MLBBDex, she is one of Marcel's worst measured adversaries, while MLCounter.com's table has her beating Cecilion (58%) and Carmilla (57%).
Mistakes everyone makes
- "The Wrong Wedding": bonding the Flower to the tank, or to whichever ally walked past first. The bond belongs to your hardest-scaling sustained fighter — MLBBHub names Karrie, Kimmy, Wanwan, a Granger who must live through dives — and it is chosen in the draft, not at 0:32.
- "The Top-Up": burning Bloom to fix one laner's poke damage in the first ten minutes. Seventy seconds is an eternity; the Lord fight does not care that your EXP laner felt better at minute four (MLBBHub).
- "The Divorce": re-bonding mid-game because a different ally is fed now. The swap needs 5 seconds out of combat and strips the old ally bare — almost every mid-game re-bond costs the next fight (MLBBHub).
- "The Tourist": following your team into an invade or face-checking bushes to "help with vision." No mobility, no escape, 240 movement speed — a dead Floryn means her carry plays the rest of the fight without their second life (MLBBHub, MLCounter.com).
- "The Mage Cosplay": building damage. Her Moonton Offense rating is 1. Her scalings exist to feed heals and shields; a damage Floryn is a worse mage and no support at all.
- "The Front Row": standing in the wave beside your carry to feel involved. The Flower's range is the entire map. Your HP bar is not.
FAQ
- Is Floryn good in Season 42? Yes — around 54% win rate and S or S+ on MLBBHub, MLBBDex and EliteDias (October 2026). She is also the most draft-dependent support in the game: right comp, she is a second life; wrong comp, she is a heal bot watching burst delete people mid-cast.
- Who should get the Flower of Hope? Your hardest-scaling sustained damage dealer — usually the gold-lane marksman (Karrie, Wanwan, Kimmy per MLBBHub). Not the tank, not a hit-and-run assassin, and decide before the first fight.
- Can Bloom really heal from anywhere? Yes — both waves hit every living ally at any distance. The Fandom fine print: an ally sealed inside Yin's My Turn gets nothing, and if Floryn is inside it herself, the heal never leaves the domain.
- Flicker or Purify? Flicker — every current guide agrees (MLBBHub, blooing, LootBar). Purify only when the enemy CC chain is long enough to stop you casting altogether.
- Why is her win rate high but her pick rate tiny? 54% on roughly 1% pick (MLBBHub, MLBBDex). Specialists only draft her into comps built around her, so the numbers carry a selection effect — which is exactly why the draft rules in this guide are not optional.
Final verdict
Floryn closes the Support queue as its most conditional S-tier: a hero whose spreadsheet says elite and whose draft screen says "conditions apply." Play her properly and your carry effectively has seven items, a shield on a hair trigger, and a fairy godmother who can intervene from a different postcode.
Play her if: your team has a sustained hyper-carry who wins long fights, a frontline that can peel, and a game plan that reaches her Oracle–Fleeting Time window intact.
Skip her if: your damage is a hit-and-run assassin, the enemy draft shows Saber plus Gusion or a Baxia, or your team needs the roam slot to make plays in the first four minutes. That game belongs to somebody else.
