# Fanny MLBB Guide (2026): Best Build, Cable Combos, Emblems & How to Stop Feeding

*The Blade Dancer doesn't need a road. She needs two walls, a purple buff, and one marksman who thinks standing behind a turret makes him safe.*

I Saw a Fanny Fly Through Four Walls. Then She Died to a Stun.

The marksman was farming peacefully. The tank was elsewhere. The mage had just wasted her escape.

Perfect conditions for murder.

Then Fanny arrived.

One cable caught the wall. Another changed her direction. She sliced through the marksman, doubled back, and finished the job before anyone could blink.

Beautiful.

Then she chased another kill, ran out of energy, and got flattened by a tank.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Fanny.

The most terrifying assassin in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang can turn a battlefield into her personal obstacle course. She can also turn your ranked match into a documentary about gravity.

I've got one rule for Fanny:

If your cables look impressive but you're not winning fights, you're just doing expensive gymnastics.

Let's fix that.

Why Fanny Is Still One of MLBB's Most Feared Heroes

Most assassins have a simple plan: find a squishy target, press the painful buttons, and escape before five angry people arrive.

Fanny decided walking was beneath her.

Steel Cable lets her cross the map using walls and terrain. A skilled Fanny attacks from ridiculous angles, deletes exposed heroes, and leaves before the enemy understands what happened.

That's why she's iconic. It's not just her speed — it's the threat of her speed. A marksman who sees Fanny missing from the minimap has two choices: retreat or start drafting an apology to the team.

But reputation isn't performance. October 2026 community trackers put Fanny's overall results relatively low, while experienced players still argue she's devastating when mastered. Both can be true.

Fanny isn't powerful because somebody on YouTube made twelve cables look easy. She's powerful when the player understands positioning, energy, timing, and which fights are worth taking. That's considerably harder than dragging your thumb across the screen.

Fanny's Skills Explained Without Giving You a Headache

Passive — Air Superiority

Fanny becomes more dangerous while flying. Her passive increases damage during flight, with the bonus influenced by her flying speed. Attacks during flight apply Prey Marks, which help her deal damage and recover energy. When her skills hit marked enemy heroes, she restores energy.

Here's the difference between beginners and veterans: bad Fanny players think cables are transportation. Good Fanny players know movement, damage, and energy recovery are one interconnected system.

Miss enough targets and you'll discover something tragic: Fanny without energy is an assassin whose escape plan is prayer.

Skill 1 — Tornado Strike

Fanny spins her blades, dealing physical damage around herself. Simple.

The interesting part? Tornado Strike triggers automatically when Fanny flies through enemies using Steel Cable, provided she has enough energy. A clean cable pass deals damage without manually pressing Skill 1.

Manual casts still matter for finishing nearby enemies. But don't press abilities just because they're available — energy spent unnecessarily is energy you won't have when four enemies come looking for revenge.

Skill 2 — Steel Cable

Welcome to the ability separating Fanny mains from people who thought she'd be a relaxing weekend project.

Steel Cable attaches to terrain and pulls Fanny towards it. Chain cables to change direction, cross enormous distances, and turn walls into your personal railway network. Consecutive cable casts become cheaper during a chain. Cheaper. Not free.

Every unnecessary cable costs energy. Every bad angle ruins your approach. Learn single cables, then two-cable movement, directional changes, and safe landing positions. If you don't know where you're landing, congratulations — neither does your team.

Ultimate — Cut Throat

Cut Throat is Fanny's targeted burst attack, dealing extra damage against targets carrying Prey Marks. That's why opening every fight with your ultimate isn't ideal — land cable attacks, apply marks, then use Cut Throat when it makes the difference.

Here's what beginners misunderstand: Fanny doesn't need her ultimate to deal serious damage. Cable-triggered Tornado Strikes already contribute heavily. The ultimate is a finishing tool, not permission to turn your brain off.

Energy Management: The Skill Nobody Can Buy

I don't care how beautiful your cable mechanics are. If you enter combat without enough energy to escape, you're volunteering to become somebody else's highlight.

Fanny uses energy instead of mana. Abilities consume it; natural regeneration and successful attacks against marked enemies help restore it. Purple buff makes managing it considerably easier.

My rule: never calculate only the energy needed to reach your target. Calculate the energy needed to leave. That habit will save more games than learning another ridiculous four-wall trick.

Best Fanny Combos: Less Circus, More Murder

The Basic Cable Attack

Steel Cable to approach, fly through your target to trigger Tornado Strike, then reposition or escape. You don't need six cables to kill somebody standing beside a wall. Sometimes the shortest route is the deadliest.

The Standard Assassination Combo

Steel Cable → Steel Cable → Automatic Tornado Strike → Cut Throat → Cable Escape.

The exact cable count depends on your angle, energy, target health, and Prey Marks. This isn't a sacred button sequence — it's a framework: approach cleanly, apply damage, finish when appropriate, escape before the enemy team arrives. If you secure the kill but die afterwards, you've missed half the assignment.

The No-Ultimate Kill

Repeated cable passes and Tornado Strike damage can finish vulnerable targets without Cut Throat. Don't waste your ultimate on somebody already one clean hit from death.

The Retreat Combo

Cable towards safe terrain, chain another cable to redirect, escape before enemy control catches you. Everybody wants to learn the flashy five-cable assassination. Nobody wants to practise retreating. Guess which skill keeps your shutdown gold out of the enemy's pockets?

My Fanny Jungle Rotation

I favour jungle Fanny because Retribution and consistent purple buff access suit her playstyle. Open by securing resources: protect your purple buff, account for invades, clear efficiently.

After early camps, watch the lanes. Marksman overextended? Opportunity. Enemy mage wasted her CC? Interesting. Five enemies vanish while you're approaching a lonely support? That's not a gank — that's a funeral invitation.

Look for favourable fights, contest Turtle, keep Retribution timing disciplined. As the match progresses, focus on vulnerable targets, buff control, and objectives. Don't waste energy attacking the enemy tank while their marksman farms in peace. You're an assassin. The tank isn't your emotional support punching bag.

Best Fanny Build in October 2026

No magical six-item recipe wins every match. Community builds lean towards burst damage or a damage-survivability mix. My framework: Tough Boots (control-heavy teams), Blade of the Heptaseas (early burst), Malefic Roar (penetration), War Axe (extended fights), Queen's Wings (survival), Rose Gold Meteor (anti-magic).

Treat it as a framework, not a purchase order. Against squishies, prioritise burst. Against armour, penetration. Against a stun-heavy team, survivability deserves attention.

Situational: Hunter Strike (mobility + pen), Sky Piercer (when already snowballing), Sea Halberd (anti-heal), Antique Cuirass (physical defence), Athena's Shield (magic burst).

And stop copying top-player builds without looking at the enemy lineup. That player built for a completely different match. Your build needs to answer your problems.

Best Fanny Emblem

Assassin Emblem (burst): Tier 1 Rupture, Tier 2 Festival of Blood, Core Talent Lethal Ignition. Rupture adds penetration, Festival of Blood gives hybrid lifesteal sustain, Lethal Ignition complements burst. Seasoned Hunter works for jungle focus; Killing Spree appears in assassination discussions.

Fighter Emblem (sustained fights): Tier 1 Rupture, Tier 2 Festival of Blood, Core Talent Impure Rage. Note: Impure Rage's mana restore isn't Fanny's energy recovery — different resource.

My pick: start Assassin for the traditional style; try Fighter once you know her limits. Neither emblem fixes cables aimed at absolutely nothing.

Battle spell: Retribution (Ice Retribution is the common variation) — non-negotiable for jungle Fanny.

How to Counter Fanny Without Having a Nervous Breakdown

Pick heroes who punish mobility: Khufra (anti-dash), Minsitthar (ult locks movement), Kaja (suppression), Franco (suppression ult), Saber (targeted burst). None guarantees victory — a clever Fanny waits out your cooldowns. Don't waste everything on a tank, then blame teammates when she turns you into lunch.

Attack her buff, not just her health bar. Organised purple-buff invades restrict her aggression. Bring teammates and vision — stealing buff is useful; donating three kills attempting it is not.

Save your crowd control. Let her commit, then punish. Don't throw every stun at the first cable — that's how you end up with four abilities on cooldown while she terrorises somebody else.

Buy defence. A dead marksman with six offensive items contributes zero damage.

Stop wandering alone. Group up, protect the backline, make attacking you a terrible business decision.

Seven Fanny Mistakes That Make Me Want to Uninstall

  1. Freestyle god on day one. Master two-cable movement before circus tricks.
  2. Ignoring purple buff. Your energy is a real limitation — treat the buff as essential.
  3. Ult too early. Cut Throat benefits from Prey Marks. Understand your damage first.
  4. Diving without an escape plan. Plan the exit before entering.
  5. Fighting everybody. The tank isn't obliged to die because you arrived dramatically.
  6. Same build every match. Items are tools, not commandments.
  7. Forgetting objectives. A highlight montage doesn't destroy the enemy base.

Fanny FAQ

Is Fanny worth learning in 2026? Yes, if you enjoy mechanically demanding heroes. No, if you want an easy ranked climb. Community trackers show weaker aggregate results than her reputation suggests, but specialists still make her terrifying. Learn her for the challenge, not promised free wins.

Best emblem? Assassin (Rupture, Festival of Blood, Lethal Ignition) for burst jungle. Fighter is the sustained-fight alternative. Neither is universal.

Hardest part of learning her? Not flying fast — flying accurately while tracking energy, positioning, enemy cooldowns, and your escape. A good Fanny knows how to fly. A great one knows when not to.

Does she fall off late game? Assassinations get harder when enemies group, buy defence, and save CC. She still punishes isolated targets and bad positioning — but reckless diving gets increasingly dangerous.

Can she kill without her ultimate? Absolutely. Cable passes and auto-triggered Tornado Strikes deal serious damage; Cut Throat is the finisher. Don't press it when she's already dead.

Biggest counter? No single answer. Khufra, Minsitthar, Kaja, Franco, Saber all work — but coordinated CC, positioning, and buff denial matter more than any one pick.

Final Verdict: Learn the Blade, Not the Circus

Fanny is one of the few MLBB heroes who can make the same map feel completely different. Walls become roads. Distance becomes a suggestion. An overextended marksman becomes a financial opportunity.

But behind the cables is a hero demanding patience, discipline, and judgement. You can memorise every angle and still lose to the wrong target. You can practise tricks for hours and still run dry before the kill. And you can win games with two simple cables because you knew where to be, when to strike, and when to leave.

My verdict? The best Fanny isn't the one who uses the most cables. It's the one who knows exactly how few she needs.
